Ranchi: To increase the voting percentage in the Lok Sabha elections 2024 and to make more and more voters aware, various types of programs are being organized continuously in the district by the SVEEP team.
In this series on 13th April 2024, a voter awareness vehicle was flagged off from the Collectorate premises. District Election Officer cum Deputy Commissioner, Ranchi Rahul Kumar Sinha, and Nodal Officer Sweep Cell cum Deputy Development Commissioner, Ranchi Dinesh Kumar Yadav and Deputy Election Officer Bivek Kumar Suman flagged off the campaign vehicle.
Voters of Ranchi Lok Sabha constituency will be made aware through various songs prepared by the Election Commission through the campaign vehicle.
District Election Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner, Ranchi Rahul Kumar Sinha said that many programs are being organized in the district under the SVEEP.
Regular meetings are being held with the Voter Awareness Forum, Electoral Literacy Club, and Residents Welfare Association.
Appealing to the voters, he said that voting is to be held in Ranchi Lok Sabha constituency on 25 May 2024, in this, maximum voters should use their franchise.
He said that the entire machinery is busy preparing for elections in a clean and fair environment.
District Election Officer Rahul Kumar Sinha said that Booth Awareness Group (BAG), BLO, BLO Supervisor, Safai Mitras and Safai Supervisor are continuously working to make people aware about voting and election process.
Voter slips will be made available to voters through BLO 10 days before the polling day.
District Election Officer Rahul Kumar Sinha said that to vote, it is necessary to register your name in the voter list.
Those citizens who have turned 18 years of age on April 01, 2024, can still participate in the great festival of democracy by registering their names in the voter list.
He said that eligible citizens can submit their application by filling Form-6 through BLO or Voter Helpline App.
