Cabinet Decisions: 30 proposals approved, JSMDC gets extension for operation of sand ghats, Ranchi-Purulia four lane road to be built for 181 crores

Ranchi: In the meeting of the state cabinet held at Project Bhawan on Thursday 30 proposals related to various departments were approved. Among the important proposals, Jharkhand Mineral Development Corporation Limited was given the extension and responsibility of the operation of Category II sand ghats in the state for the next three years. Ranchi- Purulia Road will be four-laned to 17 kms up to Namkum Arobi Sangra. For this, a plan of Rs 181.73 crore was approved while Rs 111.35 crore has been approved for four laning of Bargai Lem Bodeya Road in Bariatu.

The cabinet has also approved the proposal to construct 100 bedded Critical Care Block Health Hospital building at Lohardaga, Khunti, Saraikela Kharsawan while Bachra Nagar Panchayat was dissolved. Jharkhand Flying Institute Committee was formed, its training institute will be established in Dumka. 

A proposal has also been approved for the construction of 256 houses for leprosy patients at Mudma Mauja in Nagdi block, at a cost of Rs 33.25 crore. A plan of Rs 76.45 crore was approved to make the 7 km long Dumka bypass four lane while 20.46 acres of land in Bokaro Rehabilitation Area was given for the establishment of Technology Center. The post of 22 District Judge was extended for hearing pending cases of rape and the POSCO Act. 180 madrassa teachers and Sanskrit teachers were given the benefit of new pension to pension subsidies.

A post was created for the Principal Judge in the Family Court, Ramgarh. The principal and superintendent of Civil Surgeon Medical College have been given permission to take 44 vehicles from outsourced sources, in which 34 vehicles are Bolero and 10 buses.

The cabinet has approved a scheme of Rs 70.40 crore for setting up an interstate bus stop on PPP mode in Jamshedpur. The proposal to merge the election cadre with the Jharkhand Administrative Service was given post-facto approval. Jharkhand Bijli Vitran Nigam Limited has been given the approval to give a 2632 crore loan under outstanding payment for electricity taxes. Jharkhand Industrial Park Logistics Policy 2022 has been approved. Approval was given to create one post of Audit Officer and one post of Finance Officer in the Finance Department under Higher Technical Education Department.

The Revised Rehabilitation Policy 2012 of the Water Resources Department was extended for the next 5 years till 31 March 2027. An amendment has been made in the Jharkhand Staff Selection Examination Conducting Rules 2021, in which the examination paper for the posts of Diploma Technical Service has been amended. ITIs run by industrial houses were allowed to operate on PPP mode.

Gola Engineering College was approved to operate on PPP mode with the institution at Bangalore. Appointment and ceiling of competent authority was fixed for the expenditure of funds received from sources other than the plan budget. Land was given to M/s Rungta for 30 years on payment of 8 crores of 8 crores in Mauja Kuju of Rajnagar area of Seraikela. Approval was given to take loan from JCF worth Rs 6.92 crore for papers etc in High Court Ranchi.
