Ranchi: Hemant Cabinet meeting was held in Jharkhand Ministry on Wednesday. In this, 25 proposals have been approved. Among the proposals approved by the Cabinet, old age pension has been approved for ST, SC and all women of 50 years of age and above in the state. About 16 lakh people will benefit from this scheme.
Approval has been given to the proposal of 10 months reduction in retirement benefits during the suspension period of Sunil Kumar, former Deputy Director of Agriculture Department, Demotand. One post of MIS has been created on contract basis under Rural Affairs Department, Ranchi.
Additional amount of Rs 4.96 crore spent on Jharkhand Women’s Asian Champions Trophy was approved ex-post facto. Under Matri Vandana, Rs 1500 will be given for the insect in Anganwadi centre. Six lakh people will benefit from this.
A special judge will be appointed in CID to investigate the case.
In the Finance Department, regularization of service of 6 employees of driver and Anu Sevak category has been approved. Cabinet approval has been received to upgrade 140 middle schools to high schools in Jharkhand.
