Budget Session: New blocks will be created in state says CM inside Assembly

Ranchi: Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Thursday announced that the government will conduct a survey for formation of new blocks in the state.

While replying over a question raised by JMM MLA Lobin Hembrom the Chief Minister said that as part of survey each and every household will be knocked and information will be collected regarding the problems of the people. He said that through this household survey it will be clear as to how much distance is between the block headquarters to the panchayats and villages and accordingly their numbers will be increased.

He said that geographical conditions are very different in the state and also accepted the fact that at some places by just bringing together 5-7 panchayats blocks have been created in the state. The response from the Chief Minister followed after Lobin Hembrom demanded that Rajabhitha be made a block as people have to face lots of problems to reach their present block headquarters.

Over another issue raised by BJP MLA Neelkanth Singh Munda through a call attention motion the Chief Minister said that the government will soon come out with solutions over the land related problems. He said that due to such problems the government is going to give unique codes to Khatiyaan and plots which will require some time but soon the issue will be sorted out. He said that the government in the next session will come out with a strong reply over the matter.

The Chief Minister said that there have been regular reports regarding land mafia making forged documents related to land and the steps will also help to check such acts.
