Ranchi: health workers who worked during the Corona pandemic will be provided one month of additional wages and an announcement in this regard was made by Health Minister Banna Gupta during the ongoing budget session of the Jharkhand assembly.
Reply over a question raised by BJP MLA Amar Bauri he said that process was on to identify such workers. Over another query raised by BJP MLA Raj Sinha he said that during the covid crisis for buying PPE kits and other necessary health equipments the centre had extended help but that help was very minimal. He said that all of them will work together to ensure that Corona is defeated in Jharkhand.
Over a separate issue raised by Poriyahaat MLA Pradeep Yadav the health minister said that the Godda nursing college will be started in October and in all the other districts of the state nursing colleges in PPP Mode will be started as the government was committed in this regard. He said that the government was also trying to make efforts so that the students have to pay less fee if the colleges are run on PPP mode.
Mandar MLA Bandhu Tirkey raised the issue of illegal appointment of two APP in the state. He said that setting aside the necessary criteria lawyers Ashok Kumar Singh and Richa Sancheti were appointed as APP and they should be immediately removed.
Replying over the issue Parliamentary Affairs Minister Aalamgir Aalam said that Ashok Kumar Singh is APP in 16 out of 33 autonomous bodies while Richa Sancheti had two bodies, however the government will review their appointments and take necessary action.
Over a query by BJP MLA Birnachi Narayan Labour Minister Satyanand Bhokta said that 1500 displaced youth will be provided training by Bokaro Steel Plant and will be provided jobs.
