Dumka: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren has described General Budget 2021-22 as disappointing and such a budget which will increase the burden on the pockets of the people.
In his reaction over the General Budget 2021-22 which was tabled in Parliament by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman he said that people had hopes that this budget will provide them with relief but the central government has increased the burden on the pockets of the people.
He said that in the budget instead of providing money in the hands of the people measures have been adopted to take out more money from the pockets of the people. He said that even the steps on petrol and diesel prices has been increased by Rs 4.
The Chief Minister said that the salary class will be most impacted by the budget as instead of providing relief to them they would be burdened with price rise and inflation and even the centre government has plans to take its share in the dividend.
He said that there were high hopes in the area of Mnrega but for the poor no changes have been brought in the scheme. He said that instead of giving happiness to the farmers this budget has disappointed the farmers and overall people across all the sectors have been left disappointed by this budget.
The Chief Minister said that the central government has said the word ‘Aatam Nirbhar Bharat’ on so many occasions that it has now become ‘Aatam Becho Bharat’. He said that people have been disappointed by this budget.
Hemant Soren said that due to Corona crisis the people were already reeling under economic crisis and the remaining impact has now been completed by this budget. Overall he described the budget as big disappointment.
