Ranchi: Medininagar town of Palamu district of Jharkhand Started Blue City Bus Service especially for Men at the cost of ₹ 10 per person.
Medininagar Mayor Aruna Shankar said that in this special Bus Service Women can also travel.
According to Mayor Aruna Shankar Students, Daily Wage Labourers, Senior Citizens and others can take benefit of Blue City Bus Service.
Earlier in the board meeting ₹ 20 was the charge per person for the Bus Service but after much opposition and in the board meeting, it was decided to take only ₹ 10 per person travel cost.
Women can travel in this City Bus Service and they will be charged with minimum ₹ 5 Per Person, Mayor Shankar added.
The Municipal Commissioner wrote a letter that two buses for women and two buses for men have to be started in the city from Monday.
Meanwhile, Pink Bus Service for Women will continue its bus service in the city and the charge would remain the same at the cost of minimum ₹ 5 per person.
