Ranchi: The BJP took out a protest rally in Ranchi on Thursday regarding the water crisis in the capital. Under this, the BJP gheraoed the PHED office at Doranda.
A large number of party leaders and workers including BJP MP Sanjay Seth, MLA CP Singh, Naveen Jaiswal, and Samri Lal along with hundreds of women reached the PHED office and sat on a dharna inside the office.
BJP leaders said there has been a severe shortage of drinking water in Ranchi under the Hemant government. Supply water is not available from PHED and Municipal Corporation. More than half of the capital’s population is desperate for water. Supply water is reaching a few houses but that too is dirty.
Hemant Soren has given the Department of water to that minister, who has no tears in his eyes. Earlier, BJP leaders and workers reached the PHED office by marching on foot from Harmu Chowk.
