BJP reminds government the promises made to the public

Ranchi: BJP has reminded Chief Minister Hemant Soren of the promises made to the public before coming to power. BJP state president Deepak Prakash in a press conference said that the government is continuously cultivating lies before coming to power and after occupying the throne.

He said that JMM’s ally Congress is bearing the burden of dynasty and corruption is also working according to its nature. He said that the government has announced that the local youth are getting 75 percent reservation in private sectors but when the local policy is not defined by the government, then who is local, secondly, why does the government want to send skilled youths who do jobs up to Rs 40,000 to work in other states he asked claiming that it is clear that there is a flaw in the policy, intention, and leadership of the government.

Deepak Prakash said that there are reports of misappropriation of food grains in the Dal-Bhaat scheme as there was talk of feeding 400 people, but only 40 people are being fed. He alleged that Black marketing of all food grains is happening. He challenged the government to tell whether cognizance was taken on how many cases out of those 75 thousand applications which came into Sarkar Aapke Dwar Program.

Adding further he said that advertisements for the Sona-Sobran Dhoti-Sari scheme also appeared in newspapers and in this scheme a saree worth Rs 90 was bought for Rs 190. There was corruption in buying dhoti and lungi and if the amount of money spent on advertising was spent on the welfare of the poor, then the condition of the poor would have improved. He said that everyone knows what is happening in the PRD which publishes government advertisements.

The JMM and other party people have done wonders in earning money through this scheme he alleged. At the same time, a big advertisement came to give subsidy on petrol and diesel. It was felt that now petrol and diesel will be available in the state for free he said adding that the scheme started on 26 February 2022 and by June, only 4 people were benefitted.

Deepak Prakash said that the Ayushman scheme was brought for the treatment of the poor, but the state government changed its name to the name of the Chief Minister. The government did not give Ayushman money to 56 hospitals, due to which the needy patients are deprived of benefits even after the Ayushman card. Deepak Prakash said that 13 districts of Jharkhand were badly affected by the drought, but the government did not lose its sleep. When the letter came from the Centre, the government woke up from its sleep.
