BJP focuses on reserved seats for SC after ST seats

Ranchi: In Jharkhand, BJP is working hard to win on reserved Lok Sabha and Vidhansabha seats for tribals.

Now the party is also eyeing the reserved seats of Scheduled Castes.

A meeting of the BJP SC Morcha was held at the party’s state office regarding the election preparations on these seats, in which state president Babulal Marandi was also present.

He said that the workers of the Morcha should stand firm against the oppressive actions of the state government and fight against the atrocities.

He instructed the Morcha to prepare a list of common people and enlightened people belonging to Scheduled Castes in their respective areas.

He was also asked to join the party.

Said that 9 assembly seats are reserved for Scheduled Castes in Jharkhand. Of these, 6 are currently with the BJP, while one seat in the Lok Sabha is also reserved for SCs.

This seat is also occupied by the BJP.

In 2024, all SC reserved seats in the Lok Sabha and Vidhansabha come into the BJP’s account, efforts will have to be started from now itself.

Morcha’s State President and MLA Amar Bauri said that SC Morcha has completed all national and state level programs in the last three years.

From time to time meetings have been organized at state, district and divisional level.

Whenever there has been any atrocity against Dalits, the Morcha has agitated from road to house.

He also instructed the workers to make Babulal Marandi’s Sankalp Yatra successful.
