Ranchi: The meeting of the Hemant Soren cabinet was held at the project building on Wednesday in which a total of 43 proposals were passed. In view of the drought, it has been decided to give relief to the farmers as seeds will be given to farmers in Rabi at 90 percent subsidy.
The government has relaxed the current seed policy. A policy has been made by the Agriculture Department to give seeds to the farmers. There is a provision in the policy that earlier seeds were given to farmers on 50 percent subsidy but now it has been increased to 90 percent. This time in Rabi season, farmers will get seeds at 90 percent subsidy.
Among other cabinet, decisions include an amount of Rs 6000 per annum will be spent per Anganwadi for buying utensils in Anganwadi Centers and Small Anganwadi Centers. rs 468 crore will be spent for the construction of block office buildings in 86 blocks. In Jharkhand, 2 percent stamp duty increased in the purchase and sale of land and flats. Now the total registration fee of land and flat will be 9 percent.
The proposal of the Jharkhand Finance Bill- 2022 has been approved. In the degree college (Jugsalai) under Kolhan University, posts of 29 teachers including the principal have been created. Under Binoba Bhave University, posts of 145 teachers including principals were created in 5 new degree colleges. Deputation will be done in Barhi, Dumri, Satgawan, Barkatta.
A one-member commission was constituted to resolve some points of the report given by the one-member commission to investigate irregularities in the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly Secretariat appointment promotion. Former Supreme Court Justice SK Mukhopadhyay will report on this. Further escort vehicles will be purchased for ministers and four crore rupees will be spent on this.
The cabinet has also decided that children will now get eggs in schools for 5 days while an Extension of bell-based teachers has been given till 31 March 2023. Further two sets of warm dress for children up to three years of age will be provided
in Anganwadi and Small Anganwadi centres.
Jharkhand Electric Vehicle Policy proposal also got approval. After the policy comes, the government people will get relief till road tax. Approval of new rules for Anganwadi workers due to which 77,000 sevika-sahaikas will get benefit from this proposal of Social Welfare Department.
