Bharat bandh of tribal organization in protest against UCC, supporters jammed Karamtoli Chowk

Ranchi: In protest against the Common Civil Law (UCC) Act, tribal organizations had announced Bharat Bandh on August 7. Under which tribal workers of various organizations came on the road on Monday. Karamtoli Chowk of Ranchi was completely blocked. Not only this, the traffic on the Ramgarh main road was also disrupted. The partial effect of the bandh is being seen in the capital Ranchi.

Various tribal organizations had come out on the road since 10.30 am on Monday. Workers of the National Tribal Integration Council took to the streets under the declaration of Bharat Bandh across the country on Monday. 

The police kept on refusing the bandh supporters. But the supporters went to the meeting on the streets. The road was blocked by the tribal workers for about two hours.

The National Tribal Integration Council protested in four phases against the Common Civil Law (UCC) Act. In the first phase, on July 8, a sit-in demonstration and memorandum was handed over at the district level. 

In the second phase, on July 18, there was a sit-in demonstration at the tehsil level and in the third phase, on July 27, a rally at the district level.

On the other hand, in the last and fourth phase, the Rashtriya Adivasi Ekta Parishad announced Bharat Bandh by closing India.
