Dumri: In the Dumri byelection, the NDA alliance has thrown full force in the election campaign of its candidate Yashoda Devi. BJP state president and former chief minister Babulal Marandi and AJSU party chief Sudesh Kumar Mahto are constantly busy in speeding up the campaign through public relations, meetings and workers’ conferences.
On Thursday, on the day of Rakshabandhan festival, BJP State President and former Chief Minister Babulal Marandi launched a public relations campaign in dozens of villages including Telo Western, Bhadahi Panchayat in Telo Mandal, Saraiyatand and other villages.
On this occasion, BJP’s chief whip MLA Biranchi Narayan in Jharkhand Legislative Assembly, AJSU MLA from Gomia Lambodar Mahto, former BJP MP Ravindra Pandey and hundreds of leaders and workers were present along with Marandi.
Highlighting the achievements of the BJP government at centre and the failures of the state government, Marandi appealed to NDA candidate Yashoda Devi to win with huge votes by pressing the button on the banana symbol. He said that Jharkhand state is the gift of BJP and NDA.
