Assocham organises virtual meet on Knowledge Management: ‘Leveraging Technology to Drive Business Growth’

Ranchi: Industry Chamber ASSOCHAM on Friday organized a Knowledge Management Virtual Meet on Leveraging Technology to Promote Business Growth which focused on the development of MSMEs.

The programme started with the opening remarks of  Bharat Jaiswal who highlighted the current status of MSMEs in the states of Jharkhand, Bihar and Chhattisgarh.

In the meeting Ram Lal Khaitan President Bihar Industries Association, K S Bedi, Vice President, Chhattisgarh Chamber of Commerce and Industries and Dheeraj Taneja, Vice President, Federation of Jharkhand Chamber of Commerce and Industries were present.

President of Bihar Industries Association Ram Lal Khaitan said that when it comes to industries, Bihar is the most backward state of the country, while it has a huge area.  It has the potential for large scale industry expansion.

He said that the BIA is working closely with the government for the greater good of the industry and the state and he was very confident with works of the new government.

Chhattisgarh has a conducive environment for industries.  Industry Chambers and MSMEs are the backbone of the state of Chhattisgarh as well as the country.  The Chamber is playing the role well and is looking forward to a bright future said KS Bedi, Vice President, Chhattisgarh Chamber of Commerce and Industries.

Tally, the pioneer in business software have joined hands with ASSOCHAM to support and provide the best possible solution to their problems to MSMEs.  Initiative to accelerate the growth of industries is also one of the vision of Tally.  Sudipta Dutta and others who were present from the tally team gave a technical presentation.

The meeting ended on a high note with various state chambers, ASSOCHAM and Tally moving forward in unison.  ASSOCHAM is also conducting a survey on MSMEs in these states and looks forward to support from all circles and industries to participate and be the key to growth.
