Ranchi: On the occasion of the foundation day of Jharkhand Assembly, a program will be organized in the Assembly on 22 and 23 November.
Regarding this, Assembly Speaker Ravindra Nath Mahato held a high level meeting with departmental officials. In the meeting, the speaker said that the families of the soldiers martyred in the Naxalite encounter on November 22 and people associated with sports are to be honoured.
He directed the officials to send the families of the martyrs and the players to the venue of the program through the nodal officer.
On Foundation Day, scientists of Jharkhand associated with Chandrayaan Mission 3 and topper students of Jharkhand are also to be rewarded.
The Speaker has instructed Ranchi administration officials to make arrangements for transportation, security and accommodation for all of them. Many officials including Chief Secretary Sukhdev Singh, DGP Ajay Kumar Singh were present in the meeting.
