Arun Kumar Rai took oath as Jharkhand High Court judge, Acting Chief Justice administered the oath

Ranchi: Justice Arun Kumar Rai took oath as a judge in Jharkhand High Court on Monday. Acting Chief Justice administered the oath of office and secrecy to Arun Kumar Rai. Arun Kumar Rai has also served as the Chief Justice of Ranchi Civil Court.

At present, there are 25 sanctioned posts in Jharkhand High Court. But only 19 judges are working. 

After the collegium meeting, the recommendation to make Justice Arun Kumar Rai a High Court judge was sent to the Government of India. Which was approved.
