Ranchi: Eight political parties and more than 20 social organisations have come together against the BJP to protest against commercial minning and railway privatisation.
All the 8 political parties and 20 social organisations had a joined meeting on Tuesday during which they chalked out the future course or action to be taken against the anti people and anti workers policy of the Central government.
As per the initial plan they would be staging agitation at the block headquarters on July 23 while on the occasion of August Kranti Diwas on August 9 a dharna would be staged before the Raj Bhawan.
Later briefing the press former MP Subodhkant Sahai said that decision of commercial coal block minning, privatisation of 122 railway stations, operating private trains are all anti people decisions. He also heaped praise on the Chief Minister for his decision to approach the Supreme Court against the coal block auction.
Former Hazaribagh MP and CPI leader Bhubneshwar Mehta said that those who own the land should get their due rights. He said that when the state falls under the 5th schedule than coal minning without approval of Gram sabha was not correct.
