Another petition filed against Hemant Soren at PMLA Court

Ranchi: Former Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren’s troubles are going to increase further. Another petition has been filed in the High Court against Hemant Soren. This petition has been filed by the Enforcement Directorate (ED). Hearing took place on this matter on Tuesday.

 The next hearing will be held on February 27. ED filed complaint number 3952/2024 in the CJM court. The Central Investigation Agency, while filing a complaint petition in the court, said that summons were sent to former CM Hemant Soren 10 times for questioning in the land scam case, but he appeared for questioning only twice. This is disregarding ED summons.

During the hearing in the court, arguments were given on behalf of ED. It was said that in the case of summons of CM Arvind Kejriwal, ED had filed a complaint in the CJM court in Delhi. During the hearing in the court, it was told by the ED that 10 summons were issued to Hemant in the land scam case, out of which Hemant Soren appeared before the ED only on two summons.

Hemant Soren, the eighth summons was sent to ED on January 20 and the 10th summons was sent to ED on January 31. These are the two summons in which Hemant appeared.
