Ranchi: Film actress Ameesha Patel was summoned to appear before the court on Wednesday, but she did not appear before the court.
Ameesha Patel expressed her inability to appear physically by filing an application for exemption from personal appearance in the court through her advocate, which was opposed by Ajay Singh’s advocate Smita Pathak.
Amisha Patel has said in her petition that she has a very important program in Mohali, due to which she cannot physically appear before the court. After hearing the application of Amisha Patel, the court has accepted her petition. The court has directed her to be physically present during the next hearing. The court has given a last chance to Amisha Patel and directed her to appear during the next hearing.
The next hearing of the check bounce case related to Ameesha Patel will be held on July 10. Ranchi Civil Court heard Ameesha Patel’s case in the court of Judicial Magistrate DN Shukla. A check bounce case is going on against Ameesha Patel. This matter is of the year 2017.
According to the allegations, in the name of making the film Desi Magic, Ajay Singh transferred Rs 2.5 crore to Ameesha Patel’s account. Ajay Kumar Singh is the proprietor of Lovely World Entertainment. After not making the film, Ajay Kumar Singh has filed a complaint in the lower court.
