AJSU, NCP and Independents join hands to form Jharkhand Loktantrik Morcha

Ranchi: In a major political development in Jharkhand on Friday five MLAs representing two parties and two independents joined hands to form the Jharkhand Loktantrik Morcha. The Morcha consists of two MLAs of the AJSU, one of NCP and two Independent MLAs. From AJSU Sudesh Mahto and Lambodar Mahto, Kamlesh Singh of the NCP, Independent MLAs Saryu Rai and Amit Yadav have joined hands to form this new alliance. The Morcha will be led by AJSU supremo Sudesh Kumar Mahto.

The group has been named G-5. Addressing a press conference at the Vidhansabha premises Sudesh Mahto said that Barkatha MLA Amit Yadav will be the chief whip of the Morcha. Moreover, all the MLAs of the Morcha will sit together in the house and demand in this regard will be made to Speaker Rabindranath Mahto on Monday. Sudesh further said that under the banner of the Morcha all of them will raise the issues related to the people of the state in the assembly.

However, he said that no decision has been taken to contest the elections together. Sudesh Mahto will lead the Morcha said MLA Saryu Rai. Political experts said that through this group the leaders are trying to achieve many goals. Moreover, by their numeric strength, they would also try to create pressure on the government, they will also have an important role to play in the upcoming Rajya Sabha polls of the state. Moreover coming together of Sudesh and Saryu Rai will create new political formations in the state.

It is also likely that this Morcha might turn out to be the biggest obstacle in the way of Raghubar Das entry into Rajya Sabha as both Sudesh and Saryu have had a turbulent relationships with the former Chief Minister.
