Ranchi: Bharti Airtel (Airtel) announced the launch of its 5G services in two cities in Jharkhand, Ranchi, and Jamshedpur on Friday. Airtel 5G Plus services will be available to customers in a phased manner as the company continues to construct its network and complete the rollout.
Currently, the 5G network will be available only in some selected areas of the cities. The company will expand its network making its services available across the state in due course of time. Airtel 5G Plus is currently operational in the following places in these cities.
According to the official press release, no SIM change is needed, the existing Airtel 4G SIM is 5G enabled.
