Agriculture dept seeks white vehicles on hire, sets turnover and usage norms

Suppliers interested in providing vehicles must have an average annual turnover of at least Rs 10 lakh during past three financial years.

Vehicles will remain under control of department, office and concerned officials, with average daily usage of up to 12 hours. Contract period for hiring vehicles from external sources will be three years from date of service commencement.

Suppliers must ensure vehicles always have sufficient fuel. In case vehicle operations are affected due to lack of fuel, payment will be deducted at rate of Rs 100 per hour.
