Ranchi: The Agriculture Department has decided to provide seeds to the farmers at 50 percent subsidised rates in all the districts before the start of the Monsoon session.
Agriculture Minister Badal on Thursday said that before May 25 in all the six districts of Santhal Pargana Division and three districts of Kolhan Division the farmers will be provided the seeds for sowing of the paddy crops. He has urged the farmers to buy the seeds from lampx, pax, and cooperatives on 50 percent subsidised rates and start preparations for sowing of the paddy crops.
The Agriculture Minister said that to prevent the people from the second wave of Coronavirus all necessary precautions needed to be followed. He has urged the farmers to reach their nearest vaccination centres and get themselves and their family members vaccinated and follow the guidelines of the state government.
Since Monsoon in Jharkhand enters via Santhal Pargana and Kolhan Divisions therefore it has been decided to provide seeds to the farmers of these districts on time and even for remaining districts it will be given at the opportune time.
