Ranchi: After reeling under the havoc caused by Coronavirus the health system is now coming back to its normal days as with the decrease in a number of patients the OPD services have been started in the hospitals.
At the Sadar Hospital barring three departments, OPD has been started in all the other departments. Deputy Superintendent of the hospital S Mandal said that in Gynaecology nearly a hundred women are turning up for consultation and soon OPD for skin, ortho and surgery will be started.
PRO for RIMS Dr DK Sinha said that to start the OPD services in RIMS an important meeting will be held on June 12 in which a decision is likely to be taken and most probably from Monday OPD will start in RIMS.
Three floors of the Sadar were used as Covid wards and a month earlier patients were not finding beds here and were even undergoing treatment by sitting on the wheelchairs. But at present, there are only 8 patients left in these in including four are in them in the ICU.
