Ranchi: The state government is working with commitment to ensure the bright future of the boys and girls studying in the government schools of the state.
As per the instructions of Chief Minister Hemant Soren, the state government has sent an amount of more than Rs 220 crore under DBT to the bank accounts of 4 lakh 90 thousand boys and girls studying in various government schools of Jharkhand till December 10 for the purchase of bicycles.
This includes beneficiary students of class 8th of session 2020-21, 2021-22 and 22-23. The amount is being deposited in the bank accounts of about 3 lakh 10 thousand remaining beneficiary students of the said session to buy bicycles by 29 December 2023.
During every camp and a special camp of “Aapki Yojana – Aapki Sarkar – Aapke Dwar” funds for the purchase of bicycles are distributed among the students.
