Palamu: A major incident has taken place in Palamu, The driver of DC and SP of the district has gang-raped a woman. The city police took immediate action and arrested DC driver Dharmendra and SP driver Prakash. Dharmendra DC’s Scott used to drive the car. While Prakash drives the car of SP residence.
The rape incident took place at the house of DC’s driver. SP driver Prakash was taking a morning walk near Daltonganj station around 6 am on Thursday. Meanwhile, a woman who got down from the train asked him about the mobile recharge shop. Prakash recharged the woman’s phone from his mobile phone. The driver also took money from the woman.
The woman is a resident of Palamu and had come to Medininagar to get treatment from the doctor. On the pretext of recharge, Prakash had taken the woman’s phone number. Called this number and after some time called the woman to himself. By then Prakash had also called DC driver Dharmendra.
Both the drivers took the woman to Dharmendra’s house in the Housing Colony. After the incident, the victim woman reached the city police station. After this Medininagar Town police station conducted a raid and arrested the driver of DC and SP.
The police have sent the woman for medical examination. After interrogating both the accused drivers, preparations are underway to get them medically examined and sent to jail. Palamu SP Rishma Ramesan said that both the accused have been arrested. With the help of a technical cell, their mobile location was traced. The mobile locations of all three were found at one place.
