Ranchi, May 22: Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das would inaugurate
the five day long Jharkhand Fashion Festival (May 25-29th) which is
being jointly organized by Jharcraft and Government of Jharkhand.
Addressing a press conference Director Industries K Ravi Kumar said
that the initiative will not only attract domestic designers and
buyers but also international players from the field. He said that the
event would focus on tapping the local talent and making its best use
for upliftment of the state artisans.
He said that the event would not just be another fashion parade but it
would witness launch of exclusive designers collection on Amazon
online. It would also see the launch of the designer range named
Maluti Temple design. During the five days various seminars and
discussions would also be held on various issues, Mr Kumar said adding
that four international designers and 14 designers from Jharkhand
would be showcasing their products during the five day event.
He said that the international designers who would be participating in
the event included Shaina N C, Reena Dhaka, Shruiti Sancheti. Kumar
said that Jharcraft has tied up with FICCI which would be bringing 50
bulk buyers while major players from textile industries, loyal
customers of Jharkhand and individual buyers would also be present
during the event.
