Munmun Dutta began her television career in 2004 with the show Hum Sab Baraati, a comedy series centred around a family involved in wedding arrangements, from planning venues to entertaining guests.
She also appeared in a small role in the film Holiday, directed by Pooja Bhatt, alongside Dino Morea, Gulshan Grover, and Onjolee Nair. The film is a remake of the 1987 American classic Dirty Dancing.
