Mumbai: Actress Mouni Roy recently turned a flight journey into a special celebration as she surprised her close friend Trishala Goculdas with a heartfelt mid-air birthday party.
Sharing glimpses of the celebration on social media, Mouni gave fans a peek into the intimate in-flight setup that featured cupcakes designed like roses, a handwritten birthday note, and drinks arranged neatly on the tray table. The actress also posted pictures of printed memories of the two friends placed on the airplane seat.
Alongside one of the photos, Mouni wrote, “Inflight celebrations for my trishkulli!!!!!” and tagged Trishala. In another story, she added, “Happy happy to you!” while showing the birthday decorations and cake setup.
Later, the actress shared a warm picture hugging Trishala during a celebration and captioned it, “Happy birthday lifeline, can’t do life without you…”
The celebration comes at a time when Mouni has been in the headlines over reports about trouble in her personal life. The actress, who recently attended the prestigious Cannes Film Festival in France, had earlier shared glamorous pictures from the French Riviera on social media.
In the post, Mouni captioned the pictures “en route to the Croisette” with the hashtag #Cannes2026. She also used the viral audio track “I Don’t Chase, I Attract” by Affirmation Club, including the popular line, “I love money, money loves me.”
The posts came amid ongoing speculation surrounding her marriage with businessman Suraj Nambiar. Recently, Mouni and Suraj officially announced their separation through a joint statement on social media.
Rumours about problems in their relationship had started circulating after fans noticed that the couple had unfollowed each other on Instagram.
