Mumbai: Actor Shaheer Sheikh has shared glimpses from his recent trip to Iceland, describing the country as “raw, real and beautiful.” The actor said he has “left a piece” of his heart in the breathtaking destination known as the “Land of Fire and Ice.”
Shaheer posted a series of pictures from his Iceland vacation, featuring some of the country’s most iconic attractions, including Vatnajökull, one of Europe’s largest ice caps, the Mid-Atlantic Ridge, the Golden Circle, and the famous Blue Lagoon.
Sharing the images on social media, Shaheer wrote, “Left a piece of my heart in the land of fire and ice. Nature at its best… raw, real and beautiful. Iceland baby I will see you soon, again!”
Known for its dramatic landscapes, Iceland is famous for its glaciers, volcanoes, geysers, lava fields, and geothermal hot springs, making it one of the world’s most unique travel destinations.
On the work front, Shaheer has recently wrapped up shooting for the upcoming crime thriller series Ab Hoga Hisaab, which also stars Mouni Roy, Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia, Sanjay Kapoor, Avinash Mishra, and Harman Singha. The series revolves around murder, revenge, and a high-stakes power struggle set in Punjab. Filming concluded earlier this year, and the show is expected to release soon.
Shaheer is widely known for his performances in popular television shows such as Navya… Naye Dhadkan Naye Sawaal, Mahabharat, where he played Arjun, Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi, and Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke.
He also made his Bollywood debut with the thriller Do Patti alongside Kriti Sanon and Kajol. Directed by Shashanka Chaturvedi, the film revolves around a police investigation involving twin sisters and an attempted murder allegation.
Shaheer was last seen on the digital platform in Pavitra Rishta – It’s Never Too Late alongside Ankita Lokhande, who reprised her iconic role as Archana, while Shaheer played Manav.
