Ramgarh: Police in the district have intensified their crackdown on crime and criminal activities by launching a special overnight operation across several police station areas. Acting on the instructions of Mukesh Kumar Lunayat, teams carried out raids to arrest wanted criminals, warrant absconders, and verify charge-sheeted offenders involved in serious cases.
The Superintendent of Police made it clear that anyone attempting to disturb peace and law and order in the district will face strict legal action. He warned criminals to give up unlawful activities, stating that jail would be the only option for those continuing to engage in crime.
Under the leadership of the Patratu Sub-Divisional Police Officer, police station in-charges, and circle inspectors, multiple raiding teams were formed for the operation. During the drive, police arrested a total of 13 wanted criminals and warrant absconders from different police station jurisdictions.
Apart from the arrests, police also carried out physical verification of charge-sheeted offenders linked to cases under the Arms Act, NDPS Act, murder cases, Excise Act violations, and property-related crimes as part of crime prevention and monitoring efforts.
Those arrested during the operation include Shambhu Soni, Vijay Turi, Asgar Ansari, Arbaaz Ansari, Suresh Mahto, Sitaram Sao, Sardar Prajapati alias Sardar Kumar, Deghnath Ghatwar, Rajesh Sao alias Langda, Sanjay Munda, Vikas Shah, Sumit Agarwal, and Ram Pravesh Kumar.
