Ramgarh Felicitates Top Performers Under Chief Minister’s Panchayat Incentive Scheme

Ramgarh: A district-level felicitation and certificate distribution ceremony was held at the Collectorate auditorium in Ramgarh on Tuesday under the Chief Minister’s Panchayat Incentive Scheme. The event followed the district’s impressive performance at the state-level programme, where Ramgarh secured seven awards for outstanding work.

The programme was attended by several public representatives and officials, including Ramgarh MLA Mamta Devi, Barkagaon MLA Roshan Lal Choudhary, Mandu MLA Nirmal Mahto, Deputy Commissioner Rituraj, Zila Parishad Chairperson Sudha Devi, Deputy Development Commissioner Ashish Agarwal, and other elected representatives and district officials.

Addressing the gathering, Mamta Devi congratulated all stakeholders for their excellent performance at the state level and encouraged continued commitment. She also drew attention to the need for ensuring adequate water supply during the summer season. Roshan Lal Choudhary remarked that Ramgarh has previously earned national recognition and urged consistent efforts to maintain that standard. Nirmal Mahto praised the district administration’s work and also highlighted several local issues for consideration.

Deputy Commissioner Rituraj described the scheme as an important initiative of the state government. He stated that the district aims to achieve even better results in the coming year, with monthly monitoring and ranking of local bodies to improve implementation. High-performing units will be prioritised in development projects. He also shared details about works being carried out under the 15th Finance Commission and informed that a district-level task force has been formed to ensure water supply during the summer, along with a 15-day campaign to address related concerns.

At the state level, Ramgarh secured first place in the district council category, receiving ₹20 lakh along with a certificate. Dulmi block received ₹15 lakh in the block-level category, while Gola block was awarded ₹15 lakh in the clean and healthy block category. In the village council category, Bariatu (Gola) received ₹10 lakh, and Korambe (Gola) received ₹10 lakh in the clean and healthy category. In the village assembly category, Kander (Patratu) and Ichatu (Dulmi) were awarded ₹4 lakh each along with certificates.

During the district-level programme, elected representatives, officials, and staff members were honoured for their contributions. Among district-level awardees were Panchayati Raj Officer Nisha Kumari Singh, Project Officers Ajit Kumar and Phanindra Kumar Gupta, Assistant Statistical Officer Vijay Kumar, and Computer Operator Suraj Kumar.

At the block level, several officials and local functionaries were also recognised, including Panchayati Raj Officers, coordinators, accountants, local secretaries, and service providers for their role in strengthening grassroots governance.
