Los Angeles — Rebel Wilson has shared a candid message about body image, saying she does not think she will ever have a “bikini body” and is instead focusing on overall health and self-acceptance.
The 46-year-old actress posted on Instagram Stories that while she may not fit conventional standards, she is grateful for what her body has done for her. “I don’t think I’ll ever have a bikini body — that’s just not me. But my body has carried me through this life and I am so grateful for it,” she wrote.
Wilson, who lost around 60 pounds during her “year of health” in 2020, said she continues to work on lifestyle changes. She mentioned trying to stay active through daily steps, Pilates classes, and strength training, while also attempting to eat healthier. At the same time, she admitted she still enjoys sweets and occasionally relies on weight-loss medication for support.
The actress has previously emphasised that her transformation was never about hitting a specific number on the scale but about improving her overall well-being. She noted that she wanted to move away from unhealthy habits and become a healthier person.
The Bridesmaids star also highlighted the importance of building consistent healthy habits for both physical and mental health. She encouraged trying multiple positive routines and sticking to them daily, saying that finding a good rhythm with healthy practices can significantly improve overall well-being.
