4th Test between India and England will be held from February 23 at JSCA International Stadium in Ranchi

Ranchi: BCCI has announced the schedule for the International Home Season 2023-24.

In this, Ranchi has also got the hosting of India-England Test match.

Ranchi’s JSCA has got the hosting of the fourth Test between India and England from 23 February to 27 February 2024.

The Technical Committee of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) confirmed the venues for the domestic season 2023-24.

India has played two test matches in JSCA.

The first Test was played against Australia in 2017, which was a draw.

At the same time, the second Test was played against South Africa in October 2019, in which India won by an innings and 202 runs.

At the beginning of the New Year, Afghanistan will come to India for their first white-ball bilateral tour.

The three-match T20I series will be held in Mohali and Indore, while the final will be held in Bengaluru, where Afghanistan played their first Test match.

After this, the command of Test cricket will be taken over. India will host a five-match Test series starting with England from 25 January 2024.

Tests will be played in Hyderabad, Vizag, Rajkot, Ranchi and Dharamshala.

The senior men’s team has to play a total of 16 international matches, which includes 5 Tests, 3 ODIs and 8 T20s.

The committee comprising Amitabh Vijayvargiya, Jayendra Sehgal and Hari Narayan Pujari confirmed the allotted venues as per the BCCI venue rotation policy.

The home season will begin in September with India hosting Australia for a three-match ODI series ahead of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup.

The ODI series will be held in Mohali, Indore and Rajkot.

After the 50-over World Cup, India will play a five-match T20I series against Australia in November, starting in Vizag on 23 November and ending in Hyderabad on 3 December.
