Ranchi: Traffic jawans are engaged day and night for the safety of the people and smooth traffic on the roads. In view of this, Sarju Nursing Home near Dangratoli Chowk distributed sunglasses to the traffic jawans. About 400 traffic jawans were given sunglasses.
On the occasion, Ranchi Traffic SP Harish Bin Jama said in difficult circumstances, our traffic personnel and ASI do duty. During duty, dust and dirt come in the eyes. In such a situation, the distribution of sunglasses by Sarju Nursing Home is a commendable step.
Rohit Prasad, director of Sarju Nursing Home, said it has always been our endeavour to make people aware about road safety. Standing on the front line, our traffic men make the traffic of Ranchi smooth. In such a situation, it is also our duty to give respect to them. With this objective, 400 sunglasses have been distributed among traffic jawans and ASIs.
Hundreds of people including Traffic DSP Jitvahan Oraon, Lalpur police station in-charge Mamta Kumari, Usha Prasad were present on this occasion.
