33 doctors selected in 100 posts of senior residents in RIMS

Ranchi:  Advertisement was issued for the appointment of Senior Resident on 100 posts in RIMS. On the basis of interviews held from October 12 to October 17, a total of 33 doctors have been selected for 21 departments.

The RIMS Director has instructed the selected doctors to join after submitting NOC, caste, and residential certificates. RIMS does not get applicants every time. Experts said that now doctors want to go to big cities and find better career options. Or working on big packages in private hospitals. Due to this reason, applicants are not reaching many medical colleges for the seats.

To overcome the shortage of doctors in RIMS compared to patients, doctors were appointed as SRs. But against 100, 67 posts remained vacant. Having doctors at all posts would directly benefit the patients.

They were selected in these departments – Anesthesia: Dr. Vashishtha Raj, Dr. Riya Sonam – Obstetrics and Gynecology: Dr. Anamika Neha Linda, Dr. Nahid Khanum – ENT: Dr. Amarjeet Kumar – Eye: Dr. Dipankar – Radiology: Dr. Asim Mitra, Dr. Anuj Kumar -TB & Chest: Dr. Ankita -Cardiology: Dr. Shiv Shankar Munda, Radiotherapy: Dr. Pammi Srivastava.
