3000 seats remained vacant even after the fourth counseling of B.Ed, JCECEB wrote a letter to the department

Ranchi: The fourth round of B.Ed counseling has been completed in Jharkhand, even after this 3000 seats are vacant. Jharkhand Joint Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) has sent a letter to the Jharkhand Higher and Technical Education Department regarding what to do next.

According to the information received from the Higher and Technical Education Department, work on this is going on. Further counseling will be done or open counseling will be done. Notification for this will be issued very soon. There are a total of 133 B.Ed colleges in Jharkhand, out of which 4 are government colleges. There are 129 private colleges. There are a total 13400 seats in all these colleges.

After four counselling, only 10400 seats have been filled. There are approximately 100-100 seats in all the colleges. There are 200 seats in Deoghar B.Ed College. Even after the counseling was over the seat was not filled. After which the order to conduct open counseling was issued. Open counseling can probably be done this year also.

Counseling was conducted on 6 different dates in the first, second, third and fourth rounds of counselling. During this period, everything from registration to other work was done. The first round of counseling was held from 8th July. 

The second round of counseling was held from 25th August. The third round of counseling was held from 14th August. The fourth round of counseling was held from 5th October.
