24 injured in Chatra road accident

Ranchi: A major road accident occurred on Saturday on the Chatra-Chauparan main road, near the Gandharia area. A bus, filled with passengers, lost control and crashed into a tree, leaving more than 24 people injured, including several children. The incident took place when the bus, named Sudhanshu, was traveling from Chatra to Tilaiya. Near Gandharia, the bus lost its balance and collided with a tree by the roadside. Following the collision, panic ensued among the passengers.

Hearing the screams and commotion, local villagers and the police quickly arrived at the scene. With their help, the injured passengers were transported to Sadar Hospital, where a team of doctors, led by Dr. Manish Lal, provided treatment. While some passengers sustained minor injuries, others were seriously hurt and have been placed under close medical supervision.

Upon receiving information about the incident, the Vice President of the District Council, Brajkishore Tiwari, visited the hospital to meet the injured and inquire about their well-being. He assured that all necessary medical care was being provided and that the administration remained fully vigilant.
