18 IPS officers from state get Internal Security Medal

Ranchi: In recognition of their significant contributions to internal security, 18 Indian Police Service (IPS) officers from the Jharkhand cadre have been awarded the Internal Security Medal. The medals were conferred by the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) under the Ministry of Home Affairs and have been officially communicated to the Jharkhand Police Headquarters.

According to the police headquarters, letters have been sent to the respective officers informing them about the honour.

The officers awarded include Amol Venukant Homkar, Pankaj Kamboj, Kuldeep Dwivedi, A. Vijayalakshmi, Dr. M. Tamilvanan, Anish Gupta, Indrajit Mahta, Surendra Kumar Jha, Y.S. Ramesh, Kartik S., M. Arshi, Prashant Anand, Ashutosh Shekhar, Anudeep Singh, Shambhu Kumar Singh, Deepak Kumar Pandey, Rajkumar Mehta, and K. Vijay Shankar.
