Ranchi: The Agriculture Department has inked an MoU with an organization named PRADAN to ensure that there is no error in the implementation of agricultural schemes and its close monitoring can be done.
Speaking during the MoU programme of the department with the Pradan Sanstha at Nepal House Agriculture Minister Badal said that an MoU has been signed with PRADAN to take the cooperation of resource person in order to take off the missing app from the ground completely in the field of agriculture.
The provided institution will give its free services in the field of agriculture to the Department of Agriculture so that the additional burden of any kind of revenue will not come on the government. He said that Pradan Sanstha would prepare plans according to the weather of the area and give suggestions to the department to make the schemes successful and important suggestions would also be given by Pranda Sansthan after assessing the agricultural practices in other states.
He informed that 100 villages would be developed as model villages in the entire state. Further, the organization will mainly implement FPO, as well as provide a market for agricultural products and will play its role in awareness campaigns related to agriculture. Binju Ibrahim, the office bearer of the principal organization, said that the goal is to reach the farmers effectively, small civil society organizations and work together for the government. He said that efforts will be made to make the agriculture sector a cluster by adding such an organization.
He said that work on many schemes like water management, livestock, etc will be done and investors will be brought into the field of agriculture. During the Memorandum of Understanding, many officials of the organization including Agriculture Department Secretary Abu Bakr Siddiqui, Joint Secretary Bidhan Chandra Choudhary were present.
