10 schemes worth Rs 1,789 cr approved by state plan approval committee

Ranchi, Apr 10: The state plan approval committee has approved 10
schemes worth Rs 1,789 crore to Chief Minister Raghubar Das.
The plans were approved during a meeting chaired by Development
Commissioner Amit Khare. Prominent among them is a proposal worth Rs
1050.86 crore of the drinking water and sanitation department to
construct 26 drinking supply scheme in Dhanbad, Bokaro, Ramgarh and
West Singhbhum district under district minerals foundation trust
during the fiscal 2017-18 and 2019-20.
A scheme worth Rs 300 crore for construction of Hazaribagh Urban
Drinking Water Supply under AMRUT Yojana was also approved by the
committee. Proposal worth Rs 157.52 crore of the Home Department for
constructing police lines in Latehar, Lohardaga, Giridih and Koderma.
A proposal of the road construction department under which Jamshedpur
Marine drive road on the NH-33 would be transferred from the rural
development department to the road construction department after which
a two lane road would be constructed at the cost of Rs 103.59 crore.

A proposal of the Rural Development Department related to drinking
water, cleanliness, toilet constructs and led installations at Zilla
Parishads and increasing their source of income from another sources
worth Rs 100 crore. A proposal worth Rs 23.81 crore for construction
of JAP-07 headquarters at Hazaribagh of the Home Department was also
approved.
