Ranchi, Jul 24: Additional Chief Secretary cum development commissioner Amit Khare chaired a high level meeting over the state level agricultural statistics alongwith the senior officials of the central and the state government.
During the meeting discussion was held on renewing the agricultural statistics. Mr Khare said that technology would be used for statistical work of agriculture. During the meeting he directed that the Jan Sevaks and the revenue employees should be given training on collecting the agricultural statistics and compiling them so that within fixed time frame the report can be sent to the government of India.
He directed the director of the economy and statistical directorate to follow the parameters outlined by the central government and ensured that all indices are met and the data collected is sent on time to the Faridabad office of the central government.
