Education Minister Jaggarnath Mahto enrolls himself in intermediate, says will study further to inspire others

Bokaro: Education Minister Jaggarnath Mahto has enrolled himself in class 11th in Devi Mahto College located at Nawadih under Bermo block of this district.

Speaking after filling up the admission form for which he also paid a fee of Rs 1100 at the counter of the college where he has opted for Arts Stream for Intermediate he said that now he has decided to pursue higher education.

The Minister said that he would be able to manage all his works as not only he would look after his department but would also be regularly attending the classes, further he would also continue farming so that others can see him and get inspired.

“There is no age for getting an education..people in other jobs prepare for UPSC and become IAS and IPS. After I had become the education minister some people started saying that a 10th pass had been made the education minister,” he said adding that since he has the desire of doing something therefore he would not say anything to detractors as he would formally complete his education which would be the correct answers to his critics.

The Minister said in the entire state 4,416 leader schools would be set up in which students would be provided best of facilities for which he has signed the file today itself.

The Education Minister had completed his matric from Nehru High School Telo of Chandrapura block in the year 1995 in the second division. Incidentally, the Devi Mahto College in which he has taken admission has been set up his support only which means the minister will now study in his own college.
