Zilla Parishad Delegation met with Jharkhand CM

Ranchi: The delegation of West Singhbhum District Zilla Parishad members and Mukhiya Sangh met Chief Minister Hemant Soren in the assembly hall of Jharkhand Legislative Assembly in Ranchi on Tuesday.

He urged the Chief Minister to take initiative in providing financial resources to Zilla Parishad for better and smooth functioning.

The Chief Minister assured that the government will take appropriate decision in this direction very soon.

The Chief Minister said that Zilla Parishads will have to take initiative to become self-dependent.

In this direction, they should prepare an action plan to make commercial use of their subordinate resources.

Along with this, move forward in the direction of increasing the revenue from whatever resources are available under your jurisdiction.

Whatever cooperation is needed in this, the government will fulfill it.

The Chief Minister said that many schemes are being run by the government to strengthen the rural economy.

You cooperate in better implementation of these schemes, so that people can benefit from it.

He said that the government has decided to start a medicine shop scheme at panchayat level to strengthen the health system.

Under this, the educated youth of rural areas are being given license to operate drug stores.

Along with strengthening this scheme, give full cooperation to the youth who have taken the license of the drug store.

The Chief Minister said that Sido-Kanhu Club is being formed for the development of sports and sportspersons in the state.

Through this, the youth will be taken forward through sports.

Along with giving sports material to the club, financial assistance will also be given by the government.

For this club to work properly and effectively, public representatives like you will also have to play an important role.

For this, identify the sports talents of all the rural areas and work to bring them forward through this club.

MLA Mathura Prasad Mahto and Sukhram Oraon, Secretary to Chief Minister Vinay Kumar Choubey, President of Zilla Parishad, West Singhbhum Lakshmi Surin, Vice President Ranjit Yadav and members Shashi Bhushan Pingua, Raj Tubid, Suhagi Murmu and others were present on the occasion.
