Deoghar: Chief Minister Hemant Soren said that the state government is making such a strong system where youth will get plenty of job opportunities and at the same time financial support will be provided to those who want to be self-employed. While addressing a loan distribution cum awareness program under the state-level Chief Minister Employment Generation Scheme organized here he said the government is giving full opportunity to the youth of the state so that their talent and skills can be used well in the development of the state.
On this occasion, he gave the sanction letter of grant-based loan to the beneficiaries under the Chief Minister’s Employment Generation Scheme. In the program, a booklet based on the goal of the Chief Minister’s Employment Generation Scheme was also released by the Chief Minister and other guests.
The Chief Minister said that till now the youth of this place use to move to other states and big cities for jobs but now the people here will be provided employment in their home, village, and city as for this the process of change in the system is being done vigorously and its positive effect will be seen soon.
All the schemes including the Chief Minister’s employment generation will prove to be a milestone he said adding that the young generation here will be able to provide employment to many more people with them. He said that the campaign to fill the vacant posts in government departments has already started.
Recruitment is being requisitioned by JPSC and JSSC and not only this, strict instructions have been given to ensure that there is no irregularity in the appointments. He said that after the formation of his government in 2019, the result of the sixth civil service and seventh to tenth civil services examination has been declared and there was no irregularity in either of these exams.
He said that after the formation of a separate state, it took years to complete the examination process of five JPSC Civil Services with the matter also going to court but at the same time, the seventh to tenth civil services examination was completed in a record 251 days and the most important thing is that there was no controversy in this.
To promote self-employment in the state, the government has started the Chief Minister employment Generation Scheme he said adding that through this scheme, loans up to Rs 25 lakh are being given to the youth. The Chief Minister said that under this scheme, so far Rs 77 crore 84 lakh have been distributed among 5392 youth as loans.
The Chief Minister said that the people living in remote rural areas and those sitting in the last row of the society are also being linked with the schemes of the government. Under the Apke Adhikar Apki Sarkar Apke Dwar program run in November-December last year, problems were resolved at the doorstep and the work of giving benefits of government schemes was done.
He said that the government has started many schemes for public welfare and action plans are being prepared for many more schemes. He asked the people to take advantage of these schemes and get the benefit of others also. Along with this he also urged the people monitor these schemes and if there is any problem then solve it by giving information to the concerned officials. If any officer employee is negligent in this, then strict action will be taken against him.
The Chief Minister said that the government has taken the decision to renovate all the 118 hostels of the Welfare Department and students living in these hostels will no longer have food grains from home as food will be provided by the government in all the hostels and there will be a cook to prepare the food. There will also be a complete system of guards and cleaning for security. All basic facilities including electricity and water will be made accessible here he said.
Hemant Soren said that for the last two years, there was a ban on organizing Shravani Mela due to Corona, but this year it has been decided to organize Shravani Mela but people also have to keep in mind that Covid-19 is not over yet in such a situation, devotees coming from the country and abroad must take precautions.
The Chief Minister said that the airline operations is going to start very soon from Deoghar airport. This airport is special in the sense that international flights will be possible from here he said adding that the state government has also contributed significantly in the construction of this airport.
The government has given six hundred fifty crore rupees. At the same time the state government will also be responsible for its maintenance for the next 10 years. On this occasion, the Chief Minister also apprised the people about the Universal Pension Scheme and other schemes including Green Ration Card launched by the government.
He said that people must take advantage of these schemes, otherwise, there will be no justification for it. The Chief Minister said that schemes worth ten thousand crore rupees have been approved for the supply of pure drinking water and irrigation in the Santhal Pargana region now in every house of every village people will get pure drinking water and water for irrigation in the fields.
The government will work to implement many more such schemes in the coming days as well he assured. The Chief Minister said that the door of the government is open for 24 hours for the people. He said that government is always with people and If they have any problem then they should get in touch and surely a solution will be found for it. Various cabinet ministers, MLAs, and senior officials of the state government were present on the occasion.
