Women’s Asian Hockey Championship – Preparations reviewed in the organizing committee meeting, instructions given

Ranchi: The women’s Asian Hockey Championship is going to be organized from 27 October to 5 November at Marang Gomke Jaipal Singh AstroTurf Hockey Stadium, Morhabadi, and Ranchi. Regarding this, a high-level organizing committee meeting was held in the conference hall of the hockey stadium on Wednesday. Which was presided over by Development Commissioner Jharkhand Arun Kumar Singh.

In the meeting, preparations were reviewed and discussions were held regarding the successful event. During this, instructions were given to the officials regarding the arrival of the players, their accommodation, security, parking, traffic, vending zone etc. Arun Kumar Singh said that preparations for organizing the competition are almost complete.

A review was conducted to ensure that there was no shortage and instructions were given to complete the remaining work on time. He said that a vending zone is also being created in Morhabadi ground, where vendors are also being trained by the Municipal Corporation. Entry to the stadium is free. He appealed to the people to come watch the match and encourage the players.

In the meeting, the Additional Chief Secretary of Home, Art and Disaster Management Department, Additional Chief Secretary of Energy Department, Secretary of Building Construction Department, Secretary of Tourism, Art-Culture, Sports and Youth Affairs Department, Director General of Jharkhand Police, Ranchi DC, SSP, and Municipal Commissioner of Ranchi Municipal Corporation, Jharkhand Fire Service, Superintendent of Police (Traffic) and other concerned officials were present.
