Women policemen of Jharkhand brought laurels to the country, won two gold medals in WPF Games

Ranchi: Women policemen of Jharkhand have brought laurels to India in the World Police and Fire Games (WPFG) organized in Winnipeg city of Canada. Retired (optional) from Jharkhand Police Bela Ghosh and Sujata Bhagat have won 3 medals including 2 gold in powerlifting.

Bela Ghosh won the gold medal in the bench press and push pool events of powerlifting.

While Sujata Bhagat won the silver medal in the push pool event.

Sujata Bhagat said that she could not participate in the bench press competition due to a late visa.

Before this Jharkhand police constable Santosh Kumar Bobenga had won two gold medals in the bodybuilding competition of the World Police and Fire Games.
