Ranchi: A woman’s body was discovered on the railway tracks near Nayasarai Tundhul in the Vidhan Sabha police station area of Ranchi on Tuesday morning. The body was found in a severely mutilated state.
Local residents alerted the police after spotting the body on the Doria Toli railway line. Upon receiving the information, the police promptly arrived at the scene and took possession of the body, which has been sent for post-mortem.
As of now, the identity of the woman remains unknown. Preliminary investigations suggest that the woman may have either fallen from a moving train or been struck by one. Further investigation is ongoing.
