Winter Session: MLAs stage demonstrations over their separate issues

Ranchi: On the last day of the Winter Session of the Jharkhand Assembly MLAs staged protests outside the house in support of their different issues.

BJP MLA Neera Yadav said that women are not safe in the state and when the issue is raised inside the assembly the Chief Minister says that where such types of incidents do not happen which is an indication of his sensitivity over the issue.

Hazaribagh Sadar MLA Manish Jaiswal held demonstrations over the issue of employment. He said that the government could not give jobs in three years and whatever jobs the youth could have got that also got lost over the wrong recruitment policy of the government.

For the second time in five days an MLA of the ruling alliance staged a demonstration against his own government. JMM MLA from Latehar Baijnath Ram staged a demonstration over the hospital being constructed in Balumath.

He said that a scam worth Rs 1.25 crore has taken place in the construction of the hospital which is on for the last three years but till date the hospital was not ready. He claimed that only assurances are being given in the house.

Ram said that as MLA of the area he is first responsible for the people of his area and will highlight the issues with whichever means possible.

However Health Minister Banna Gupta went to the MLA and assured that all his issues will be sorted out but he did not budge and said that he will only believe if the Chief Minister says so.
