Wild elephant seen roaming in Jharkhand Assembly, police chased it into the forest

Ranchi: The wild elephant reached the Jharkhand Assembly at around 12.30 pm.

The elephant kept roaming around the Jharkhand Assembly for about two hours.

The local people were in great fear after seeing the elephant.

Somehow the police chased the wild elephant towards the forest by blowing sirens and bursting crackers.

A herd of elephants is roaming in the forest near Nagdi.

One elephant from that herd had strayed and reached the assembly.

However, since it was late at night and there was no crowd on the road, the elephant did not harm anyone.
